Jul. 25th, 2006 06:09 pmMy mom received an email from Petster today. That's where she put our pictures after we left Catster. Petster isn't very fancy, but we like it because it seems intended for grown-ups and there's not lots of role-playing crapola going on. You are supposed to be over 18 to join, but there's no real way for them to check on that, of course.
Anyway, here's part of the email, in case anyone is interested:
We're sending you this email to let you know that we've Upgraded Petster with a new look, better email and password management, a more stable and secure platform, plus more.
Additional functions we think our members will appreciate are the ability to create Custom Themes for your profile pages to reflect your own personal style; a new Blog function where you can create detailed journals about the growth and activities of your favorite pets; and an unlimited number of pets for each member's profile page, as well as the ability to upload just as many pet photos to your profile as you can stand.
Incidentally, Cleo and I have links to our Petster pages in our Live Journal profiles, if anyone would like to visit us there. If you would like to join Petster, please use this link. We get prizes for referring kitties.
